Alameda Healthcare Group taps Dell for data center in Cairo, Egypt

Alameda Healthcare Group is teaming up with Dell Technologies for a data center in Cairo, Egypt. The new data center should help Alameda better support its staff as they provide the care to patients.

What's the story?

The two companies have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) under which Dell will provide the data center equipment necessary to Alameda, as well as to implementation services.

In addition, Dell will advise Alameda around Edge computing, network infrastructure, data center core technologies, and multi-cloud solutions.

The data center will be located in Cairo, and will host Alameda's digital infrastructure.

The exact value of the MoU has not been shared, but it is described as a "multi-million-dollar agreement."
