PureHealth has launched a new diabetes care module for its AI-enabled app, Pura, aiming to revolutionize diabetes management and overall health.

Since its soft launch in October 2023, Pura has gained significant traction with over 140,000 downloads, demonstrating its appeal to users seeking personalized health solutions.

As PureHealth's Group CEO, Shaista Asif, explains, "Pura is not just about tracking health journeys but taking control of them."

How does it work?

Pura integrates with select continuous glucose monitoring devices to provide real-time tracking and analysis of blood glucose levels. The app delivers personalized meal plans, connects to PureHealth's Diabetes Command Centre for secure physician access, and helps users manage their diabetes effectively.

Beyond diabetes care, Pura connects to wearable devices to collect and analyze data on various aspects of health, including heart health and sleep quality. Users receive insights through features like the PureScore, an evidence-based health metric, and are motivated by gamification tools like FitCoins, earned through challenges. The app further enhances the user experience by offering seamless access to teleconsultations, in-person appointments, and home medicine delivery — fully integrated with PureHealth's healthcare network.
