Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC)
The Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC), affiliated with Egypt's Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, is dedicated to fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship across the country. It supports startups and entrepreneurs with a comprehensive range of services, including knowledge dissemination, financial support, incubation, and acceleration programs like the Thomas Edison Accelerator (TEA), InvestIT, EgyptInnovate, and InnovEgypt. Through initiatives such as Innovation Cluster (iCi), TIEC fosters regional development by building networks of universities, companies, and research centers via public-private partnerships. Its broader mission is to stimulate a knowledge-based economy, guiding the development of intellectual property, strengthening ICT research and skills, and positioning Egypt as a dynamic hub for innovation in the region.
