These are 10 digital health startups selected for TASMU Accelerator 2024

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) has announced the 25 startups selected for the 2024 TASMU Accelerator program. Chosen from over 640 applicants across 74 countries, these startups represent innovative solutions from 14 nations — embodying Qatar's ambition to position itself as a hub for technological advancement and digital transformation.

With rigorous evaluation and strategic support, TASMU Accelerator aims to fast-track their growth while enhancing Qatar's digital ecosystem.

How does it work?

The TASMU Accelerator follows a structured selection and development process. From an initial pool of applicants, 40 startups advanced to a pre-acceleration phase, where they underwent rigorous evaluation by a panel of over 12 subject matter experts and investors. This process included multiple pitch sessions to assess their readiness to enter the Qatari market, their revenue-generating potential, and their ability to secure future funding.

The program's six-month acceleration phase offers mentorship, access to industry experts, and collaboration opportunities with major corporations. Participants also benefit from a cash incentive — QAR 200,000 each for the top four performing startups. The focus is on helping these startups refine their operations, establish a foothold in Qatar, and secure investment for long-term success.
