Saudi Arabia’s Madeed raises $400K to build data-driven preventive health app

Madeed, a new digital health startup focused on longevity and disease prevention, has raised $400,000 in pre-seed funding to bring its vision to life. The round was led by Vision Ventures and backed by a group of high-profile Saudi investors, including Mashhoor Aldubayan, Zid founder Mazen Darrab, and Careem co-founder Abdullah Elyas.
The platform aims to become the Middle East's first end-to-end system for true prevention, not just treatment. Using advanced laboratory testing, Madeed looks for early warning signs across hundreds of conditions — often before any symptoms appear. Members receive detailed blood and biomarker analysis, along with easy-to-read health reports and clinician-reviewed insights covering areas such as metabolism, hormones, heart health, and inflammation.
What sets Madeed apart is how it turns complex data into daily action. Based on each member's test results, the platform provides personalized lifestyle, nutrition, and supplement plans, including a custom-made daily supplement pill tailored to individual needs — eliminating the usual trial-and-error approach to wellness.
Founded by longevity specialist Dr. Adam Bataineh, who previously co-founded U.S. startup Span Health before its acquisition by Eight Sleep, Madeed will use the new funding to complete product development, grow its regional lab and clinical partnerships, and launch its first group of members in Saudi Arabia. The company's long-term ambition is bold: to become the default preventive health layer for the Middle East and beyond.
