Neuratia Labs picks CliniDataCue to solve the data problem facing its first research fellows

Brilliant research ideas often stall for a plain reason: researchers can't get the right data. Neuratia Labs appears to have spotted that gap early. It has named CliniDataCue an official Research Ecosystem Partner for its inaugural Neuratia Research Fellows Program 2026.

The program is selective. Ten researchers from leading universities and research institutions worldwide were chosen from more than 1,000 applications across over 50 countries. Over six months, they will work across neuroscience, artificial intelligence, neurotechnology and brain health.

Neuratia Labs, which operates between Dubai and Mumbai, is an AI-driven neurotechnology company building research infrastructure and tools for brain-signal analysis and brain health. CliniDataCue specializes in healthcare data infrastructure. It helps organizations source, structure, manage and govern medical data for clinical research and healthcare AI.

How will it work?

CliniDataCue will support the fellowship's research ecosystem. It will help participating researchers work out what data their projects need and explore potential access to relevant datasets. The announcement gives no detail on which datasets are involved or how access will be granted, so that remains to be seen.

Why does it matter?

Data access is one of the biggest bottlenecks in healthcare AI. Brain research makes it harder still, because neural data is complex and sensitive. Pairing young researchers with a partner focused on governance, not just supply, is a sensible move.

It also matters for the Gulf. The UAE has made digital health and AI central to its health agenda, and Dubai wants to be a base for global health innovation. A fellowship that draws talent from 50 countries and is linked to a Dubai company fits that ambition.

The context

Across the GCC, governments are building national health data frameworks and investing in AI-enabled care. Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 and the UAE's digital health strategies both depend on trustworthy, well-governed data. Without it, AI tools struggle to earn clinical confidence.

Neuratia describes the partnership as part of a wider effort to connect researchers, technology companies and healthcare innovators. The real test will be what the ten fellows produce, and whether the data support makes a visible difference.
