Emirates Foundation, PureHealth announce the Active Abu Dhabi initiative

In the presence of H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes' Affairs, Emirates Foundation has partnered with PureHealth to launch the Active Abu Dhabi initiative.

H.H. Sheikh Theyab was briefed on the initiative to further promote active and healthy lifestyles in Abu Dhabi through a year-long program of fitness activities, beginning March 18th, 2024, for 14 days.

Why does it matter?

Recent data by Abu Dhabi's Department of Community Development highlights that a promising 37.3% of the City's population already meets the World Health Organization's global physical activity guidelines.

Active Abu Dhabi, whose mission is to spearhead a series of annual active lifestyle events, aims to build on this momentum by promoting sports engagement, advancing positive societal interaction, and encouraging an even greater segment of the community to adopt an active lifestyle.

How will it work?

Powered by Pura, PureHealth's personalized AI-enabled longevity app, the collaboration between PureHealth and Active Abu Dhabi is set to impact the community by encouraging a healthier, more resilient society where individual wellbeing is prioritized.

Pura will provide access to challenges and reward participation through incentives, improving overall engagement in Active Abu Dhabi and progress toward a healthier lifestyle. The partnership is in line with PureHealth's mission of advancing longevity for all and encouraging people to enhance their holistic health and overall well-being.
