Amal Glass has developed AI-powered smart glasses for blind and visually impaired people. The device looks like regular sunglasses, contains a camera and a set of sensors, and connects to a smartphone to enable blind people to be independent and self-reliant to practice their daily lives, integrate into education and the labor market, and not seek help from others. Amal Glass comes with several applications for reading texts around the user, recognizing images, counting cash, describing the environment, and more.
