DarDoc launches AI intelligence layer that reads a patient’s full history before the doctor walks in

Most clinical decisions are made with incomplete information. A patient sits down, the doctor asks how the last month went, and what follows is a reconstruction, filtered through memory, habit, and whatever the patient thought was worth mentioning. Dubai-based health platform DarDoc has built something specifically to fix that problem. Its new machine learning layer, truesight, is now live in beta for members of its Lifestyle Rx subscription clinic, and its core proposition is simple: by the time the doctor walks in, they already know what changed, what was tried, and what was declined.
How does it work?
TrueSight sits inside the Lifestyle Rx platform and draws on every piece of data a patient's care has generated. That includes intake forms, consult notes, prescriptions and dose changes, confirmed medication intake, weight, steps, activity data, and anything the patient has written in their own words, in Arabic or English. It also tracks order and delivery history, and how the patient actually uses the app, including what they ignore.
From that combined picture, the system maintains a running account of each patient. It tracks stable facts and routines, records what the patient has already told the care team, and notes what they have already declined. Rather than locking onto a single explanation when something changes in the data, it holds several possibilities open at once, each tied to the evidence that supports it and the evidence that would rule it out. Then it surfaces one thing per day worth telling the patient, with a clear explanation of what that judgment is based on. If new information weakens an earlier reading, the system retracts it.
Before a consult, it hands the physician a structured summary of the preceding month. The appointment starts from context rather than a cold reconstruction. TrueSight does not diagnose, prescribe, or treat. Clinical decisions stay with licensed clinicians. The system organises and presents information the patient has already provided.
By design, it is quiet. It surfaces one small prompt at a time, usually resolved with a single tap, and says nothing on days when there is nothing worth saying. When a patient shares context, travel, hospitalisation, or fasting during Ramadan, it adjusts rather than flagging normal life as a missed target. In one beta example, a patient's weight and meal patterns shifted over a week. Instead of logging it as non-adherence, the system asked directly whether anything had changed. The patient explained they were staying at a hospital with a family member. The doctor saw context, not a gap.
A second phase is planned shortly after the current beta. It will extend truesight into consultations as a real-time transcription scribe, capturing physician-patient conversations so nothing said in the room is lost. Patients consent during Lifestyle Rx onboarding, and all DarDoc physicians operate under a standing agreement to use the tool. Lab results will also feed into the system, connecting what is said in the room with a patient's digitised biomarker history.
TrueSight is live now for Lifestyle Rx members, starting with iOS users. Android availability follows after the iOS release. Beta enrolment numbers have not been disclosed. The tool is not connected to DarDoc's separate partnership with Novo Nordisk.
- Data sources: consult notes, prescriptions, confirmed medication intake, weight, steps, and activity
- Patient-written input accepted in Arabic and English
- Tracks app usage patterns, including ignored prompts
- Surfaces one insight per day, with visible reasoning
- Retracts earlier readings when new evidence contradicts them
- Phase two adds real-time consult transcription and lab data integration
Why does it matter?
The gap between appointments is where most chronic disease management either holds or falls apart. A patient on a GLP-1 programme, for example, might see their physician once a month. Everything that happens in the weeks between visits, the missed doses, the travel, the side effects quietly endured, rarely makes it into a clinical record in any structured way. TrueSight is built for exactly that space.
'Healthcare has traditionally focused on the treatment itself, but outcomes are shaped by what happens between appointments,' said Keswin Suresh, co-founder of DarDoc. 'That's where adherence and persistence matter most.'
And the ambition here goes beyond reminders. The system is designed to carry the thread of a patient relationship forward continuously, so that clinical conversations start from where the patient actually is. That is a meaningful shift from how most digital health tools currently work, where data is collected but rarely synthesised into something a clinician can act on immediately.
The context
DarDoc was founded in 2021 by Samer Masri and Keswin Suresh and holds DHA digital clinic, home healthcare, and pharmacy licences, alongside DOH accreditation in Abu Dhabi. Its Lifestyle Rx clinic covers weight loss, peptides, skin, and sexual health. The company also runs Pulse OS, a B2B platform supporting gyms, hotels, recovery centres, and corporate wellness partners across the UAE. DarDoc is an alumnus of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Innovation Fund Innovation Accelerator, an initiative of the UAE Ministry of Finance.
The launch sits squarely within a wider push across the UAE and GCC to make AI a functional part of clinical workflows rather than a background capability. The UAE's National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence and the broader health ambitions embedded in Abu Dhabi's and Dubai's respective health authority roadmaps have created real appetite for tools that move beyond data collection toward clinical intelligence. DarDoc claims truesight is the first system of its kind in the UAE. So the real question, for the physicians and health system planners watching this beta, is whether the data it surfaces actually changes what happens in the room. That answer will come with time and scale. But the design logic is sound, and the problem it is solving is real.
