CorVista Health looking to bring its cardiovascular diagnostic platform to Saudi Arabia

In a move to improve cardiovascular diagnostics in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, CorVista Health has partnered with Advanced Telecommunications Solutions and Services (ATSS). The two companies recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to explore the introduction of the CorVista System — a cutting-edge point-of-care diagnostic platform. This collaboration aims to enhance early detection and treatment of cardiovascular diseases (CVD), which account for over 45% of all deaths in Saudi Arabia.
As Eng. Abdullah Alosaimi, CEO of ATSS, put it, "This reflects our mission to provide cutting-edge healthcare solutions that enhance patient care, streamline operations, and empower healthcare professionals."
How does it work?
The CorVista System is a non-invasive diagnostic tool that evaluates patients for significant coronary artery disease (CAD) and pulmonary hypertension (PH) in a single visit. By collecting cardiac and hemodynamic signals and applying advanced machine learning, the system delivers actionable insights within minutes. This eliminates the need for radiation, contrast agents, fasting, or exercise. Physicians can access results through a secure web portal, enabling faster, more precise decision-making.
"The CorVista System empowers cardiologists and pulmonologists to choose the right treatment path for their symptomatic patients at the initial examination," explained Don Crawford, CEO of CorVista Health.
Why does it matter?
Cardiovascular diseases remain the leading cause of death worldwide, and Saudi Arabia faces a particularly urgent challenge. With the economic burden of CVD projected to triple to $9.8 billion annually by 2035, the need for innovative solutions is clear.
"Collaborating with ATSS represents an opportunity to improve the standard of cardiovascular diagnostics in Saudi Arabia by generating reliable, actionable results faster than conventional tests," noted Crawford.
The CorVista System offers a significant advantage, allowing healthcare providers to make timely, informed decisions, potentially reducing the need for invasive procedures and improving patient outcomes.
The context
Saudi Arabia's healthcare landscape is evolving rapidly under the Vision 2030 framework, which aims to enhance public services and diversify the economy. ATSS is at the forefront of this transformation, leveraging digital technologies to improve healthcare delivery.
"Through innovative collaborations such as our partnership with CorVista Health, we aim to deliver state-of-the-art cardiovascular diagnostics to the Kingdom," said Alosaimi.
By bringing advanced diagnostic capabilities to underserved areas, this partnership supports both Vision 2030 and the broader goal of elevating healthcare standards across the region.
