AI-enhanced medical service proves valuable during Hajj

A high-tech medical service using AI was successfully tested on security personnel during this year's Hajj, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

This service employs a capsule equipped with artificial intelligence and modern communication technology to perform medical exams at the workplace, each taking just six minutes.

The capsule can measure 26 physiological indicators, including height, weight, body and muscle mass, blood pressure, temperature, oxygen levels, energy needs, heart rate, and heart rate variability.

The AI system analyzes the health data, followed by a remote consultation with a doctor who can prescribe necessary medications through the Wasfaty system.

This service minimizes the need for hospital or clinic visits, offering a safe and private environment for health exams and medical consultations at work.

Initially, the personnel from the Ministry of Interior and the Presidency of State Security benefit from this service.
